Job Summary

Our client is seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Educator (ECE) to join their team. This position offers potential visa sponsorship for overseas candidates, allowing you to explore opportunities such as LMIA and PNP support in Canada.

Job Details

• Location: 2054 Cherry Street, Abbotsford, BC, V2S 3S6
• Work Setting: On site in a Child Care Centre
• Salary: $28.00 to $31.00 per hour (To be negotiated)
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full Time
• Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Assess children’s development to prepare tailored learning plans.
• Assist with housekeeping and cooking duties.
• Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers.
• Develop and implement child-care programs promoting physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development.
• Maintain daycare equipment and perform storytelling.
• Supervise staff, trainees, or volunteers.
• Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioural problems.
• Engage children in creative activities such as art, music, and physical play.
• Prepare snacks and arrange rooms for lunch and rest periods.
• Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers.

Qualifications

• Education: College/CEGEP, Early Childhood Education (ECE) Certificate.
• Experience: Experience is an asset.
• Certifications: First Aid Certificate and Criminal Record Check required.
• Skills: Excellent oral and written communication skills.
