Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Dump Truck Driver. Visa sponsorship is available for overseas candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 1101-77 Ave NW, Edmonton, AB, T6P 1M8
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $29.55 hourly / 40 to 60 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Vacancies: 3

Education and Experience

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Will train

Responsibilities

• Address customers’ complaints or concerns
• Coach colleagues on new methods or work techniques
• Demonstrate professionalism in customer service
• Oversee condition of vehicle and inspect tires, lights, brakes, cold storage, and other equipment
• Perform brake adjustments and emergency roadside repairs
• Conduct pre-trip, en route, and post-trip inspections
• Perform preventive maintenance
• Receive and relay information to central dispatch
• Record cargo information, hours of service, distance traveled, and fuel consumption
• Tarping and ensuring safety and security of cargo

Credentials

• Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles)
• Air Brake (Z) Endorsement
