Job Summary

Our client is seeking a skilled drywall installer who is dedicated to delivering high-quality craftsmanship in various locations. The successful candidate will be instrumental in ensuring that drywall installations meet the highest standards.

Job Details

• Work Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Location: On site
• Hours: 35 to 40 hours per week
• Shifts: Morning, Day, Evening

Responsibilities

• Apply successive coats of compound and sand seams and joints.
• Clean and prepare surfaces for drywall installation.
• Cut and install metal corner beads to protect exterior corners.
• Fill joints, nail indentations, holes, and cracks with joint compound using trowel and broad knife.
• Measure, cut, fit, and install drywall sheets.
• Position and secure sheets to metal or wooden studs or joists.
• Smooth out excess compound and allow coat to dry.
• Tape over joints using a taping machine and embed tape in compound.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years in drywall installation.
• Language: Proficiency in English.

• Handling heavy loads.
• Work under pressure.
