Job Overview

Our client is seeking a driving instructor to join their team. This position provides an opportunity for candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit, to apply. Visa sponsorship may be considered for overseas applicants.

Job Details

• Location: 2565 Steeles Ave. E, Brampton, ON, L6T 4L6
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $36.00/hour for 30 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time

Education & Experience

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Responsibilities

• Conduct road test examinations and evaluate the driving ability of applicants for driver’s licences
• Demonstrate and explain the handling and mechanical operation of motor vehicles
• Instruct individuals on proper motor vehicle driving skills and traffic regulations
• Supervise individuals during practice driving

Credentials

• Provincial Driving Instructor Licence

• Computer Knowledge: MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Windows, MS Word, Database software
• Work Conditions: Sitting, Attention to detail, Combination of sitting, standing, walking, Hand-eye coordination, Manual dexterity
• Personal Suitability: Accurate, Client focused, Dependable, Excellent oral and written communication, Team player
