Our client is seeking a Dispatch Logistician who is willing to relocate and is open to international applicants, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Visa sponsorship may be considered for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments
• Monitor movement of supplies and materials between departments
• Perform routine clerical duties
• Read blueprints and specifications
• Prepare and submit reports
• Ensure smooth operation of computer equipment
• Arrange for maintenance and repair work
• Ensure accuracy of completed time sheets and payroll
• Maintain work records and logs
• Organize warehouse and work areas
• Resolve work problems and provide technical advice
• Recruit and hire staff
• Compile worksheets and specifications of orders
• Communicate with production supervisors to schedule runs efficiently
• Provide customer service and train workers
• Conduct performance reviews and arrange staff training
• Organize and maintain inventory

Experience and Skills Needed

• Education: College or non-university diploma (1-2 years)
• Experience: 1 to less than 2 years
• Languages: English
