About the Role

Our client is revolutionizing diagnostic imaging in Edmonton by providing mobile X-ray services directly to patients. This innovative approach allows for clinic-quality imaging delivered in the comfort of patients’ homes or care facilities, prioritizing accessibility and efficiency for those with mobility challenges, dementia, or limited transportation options.

Key Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Interpreting medical images
• Diagnosing diseases and injuries
• Consulting with referring physicians
• Recommending further tests
• Guiding treatment plans
• Demonstrating qualifications to diagnose and treat diseases and disorders
• Collaborating in a team of highly-skilled medical professionals
• Understanding relevant laboratory tests and diagnostic procedures
• Exhibiting empathy and understanding when working with patients

Earnings Potential

Expect an impressive earning potential of up to £450,000 gross annually. In Alberta, radiologists are compensated on a fee-for-service basis, meaning income is based on patient interactions and the complexities of diagnoses and treatments provided. Further details can be discussed upon contact.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Pass the exams required by the Royal College of Radiologists (FRCR)
• CCT in Diagnostic Radiology
• Preferred membership in the British Institute of Radiology
• No Canadian qualifications required; assistance will be provided to obtain a license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
• Immigration specialists will guide you in obtaining your work permit and permanent residency.
