Overview

Our client is an organization focused on community development through fundraising and communication initiatives. The Development Officer will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at enhancing the organization’s visibility and engagement with stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop events for publicity, fundraising, and information purposes
• Evaluate and implement communication strategies and programs
• Prepare written materials such as reports and website content
• Publicize events and activities
• Supervise professional and support staff
• Execute administrative tasks and plan development projects
• Act as a spokesperson for the organization
• Co-ordinate special events and promotions
• Maintain and manage digital databases

Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma (1-2 years program)
• Languages: English
• Experience: 1 to less than 2 years in a similar role
