We are currently recruiting a passionate full-time dermatologist to join a well-established private practice located in the beautiful city of Medicine Hat, Alberta. The practice has been serving the community for more than 20 years, providing attentive and comprehensive care to patients with undivided support from well-trained staff. Immigration support is available for qualified candidates.

Earnings Potential

Up to £400,000 gross annual earnings
In Alberta, dermatologists are compensated on a fee-for-service basis, which means earnings are linked to the number of patients seen and the diagnosis and treatment provided.

Key Responsibilities

As a dermatologist at our client’s clinic, your responsibilities will include:

• Examine patients to assess skin conditions, nail, and hair concerns using a dermatoscope.
• Diagnose and treat skin disorders such as acne, eczema, psoriasis, dermatitis, skin cancer, and severe drug rashes. Utilize cryosurgery for pre-cancerous or benign skin lesions.
• Conduct skin cancer screenings and perform biopsy or excision diagnoses as needed.
• Prescribe medications, topical treatments, or therapies.
• Perform cosmetic dermatology procedures.
• Educate patients on proper skincare, sun protection, and disease prevention.
• Maintain detailed patient records while ensuring confidentiality.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as necessary.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, you should have:

• Membership in the Royal College of Physicians (MRCP).
• Ideally, membership in the British Association of Dermatologists (BAD).
• No additional Canadian qualifications required; assistance will be provided to obtain a license with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Alberta.
• We will also cover costs for immigration specialists who will guide you in obtaining your work permit and permanent residency.
