Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Delivery Driver located in Grande Prairie, AB. Visa sponsorship may be considered for overseas candidates as we support applicants with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: On site at 9434 108 AVE, Grande Prairie, AB, T8V 3C1
• Salary: $36.00 hourly for 35 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, On call, Flexible hours
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Deliver and pick up messages, parcels, and other items by hand.
• Operate and drive automobiles, vans and light trucks to pick up and deliver various items and products.
• Load and unload goods.
• Follow directions and read maps.
• Use maps and other trip planning aids.
• Record trip information such as vehicle mileage, fuel costs, and any problems.
• Pay and receive payments for goods.
• Provide customer service.
• Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspections and oversee all aspects of the vehicle.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: Experience an asset.
• Licences: Class 5/5F/G Licence (cars, small trucks, and other 2-axle vehicles).
