Responsibilities

• Enact measures to ensure unauthorized users cannot access the data.
• Provide advice to other informatics professionals regarding database management tools.
• Set up the IT infrastructure to allow applications to access databases.
• Lead and coordinate teams of data administrators in developing and implementing data policies, standards, and models.
