Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Data Engineer who will play a crucial role in assessing and troubleshooting applications software, building predictive models, and communicating technical solutions to various audiences. This is a permanent, full-time position located in Toronto, ON, with a salary starting at $49.00 per hour for 37.5 hours a week.

Visa sponsorship is available for the right candidate, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess and troubleshoot applications software.
• Build predictive models.
• Communicate benefits of analytic solutions to business and technical audiences.
• Conduct business and technical studies for system implementation.
• Research data availability and suitability.
• Confer with clients to identify requirements.
• Coordinate the development and integration of computer-based systems.
• Design methods for data collection and processing.
• Develop data mapping methods and process models.
• Discover trends within large datasets.
• Maintain software and databases.
• Lead teams in software and information system development.
• Implement policies throughout the software development life cycle.
• Resolve conflict situations and conduct quality controls.

Qualifications

Education

• Bachelor’s degree required.

Experience

• 7 months to less than 1 year in a related field.
