Job Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Crane Service Technician to join the team. Visa sponsorship may be considered for international candidates. This role involves troubleshooting, inspecting, and repairing crane and related equipment.

Location

Barrie, ON

Salary

$35.00 to $39.00 hourly (to be negotiated), with 40 to 50 hours per week.

Terms of Employment

Permanent position, full time, with various shifts including day, evening, night, and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and inspect equipment to detect faults and malfunctions.
• Diagnose faults or malfunctions using computerized and other testing equipment.
• Adjust equipment and repair or replace defective parts.
• Maintain reports and documentation.
• Test repaired equipment for proper performance.
• Clean, lubricate, and maintain cranes.
• Inspect products and ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
• Work from man-lift and other equipment.

Requirements

Education

• Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience.

Experience

• Experience an asset.

Skills

• Bondable and clear criminal record check.
• Valid driver’s license; willing to travel frequently.
• Capable of handling physically demanding tasks.
