Position: Cook
Location: 1500 Banks Rd, Kelowna, BC, V1X 7Y1
Salary: $36.60 hourly / 30 hours per week
Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
Work Location: On site
Visa Sponsorship: Our client accepts applications from other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.
Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods.
- Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
- Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food.
- Order supplies and equipment.
- Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
- Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment.
- Clean kitchen and work areas.
- Recruit and hire staff.
- Organize buffets and banquets.
- Manage kitchen operations.
Qualifications
Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
Experience: Will train.
Languages: English.
