Job Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Cook to join their restaurant team. This position is open to candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Immigration support may be available for the right candidate.

Job Details

• Work Location: On site, Strathmore, AB
• Salary: $17.90 hourly for 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time
• Work Conditions: Day, Evening, Weekend, Shift
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Language Requirement: English

Work Environment
