Our client is seeking a cook who will be a key player in managing kitchen operations, coordinating special events, and ensuring food quality. Visa sponsorship options are available for qualified candidates, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 370 Kent St W suite #01A1, Lindsay, ON, K9V 6G8
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $25.00 hourly / 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Day, Evening, Weekend

Responsibilities

• Co-ordinate special events
• Determine the size of food portions and costs
• Requisition food and kitchen supplies
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas
• Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food
• Order supplies and equipment
• Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment
• Clean kitchen and work areas
• Manage kitchen operations

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year
• Languages: English
