Our client is seeking a qualified cook with visa sponsorship available for international applicants. This position may provide support for candidates with work permit requirements, including those with a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Edmonton, AB
• Work location: On site
• Salary: $22.75 per hour
• Terms of employment: Permanent, Full time
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend

Responsibilities

• Determine the size of food portions and costs.
• Plan menus and estimate food requirements.
• Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes.
• Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances.
• Inspect kitchens and food service areas.
• Train staff in food preparation and handling.
• Order supplies and equipment.
• Supervise kitchen staff and helpers.
• Maintain inventory and records of food supplies and equipment.
• Manage kitchen operations.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Languages: English; Asset: Panjabi
• Cuisine Specialties: East Indian, Vegetarian
