Job Overview

Our client is looking for a Construction Site Supervisor to join their team. This is a permanent, full-time position with a salary of $33.00 per hour, working 35 hours per week. Visa sponsorship may be considered for qualified candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Location

• Location: Coquitlam, BC
• Work Setting: On site

Responsibilities

• Prepare production and other reports
• Supervise workers and projects
• Co-ordinate and schedule activities
• Oversee apprenticeship training
• Recruit and hire workers and carry out related staffing actions
• Train or arrange for training
• Operate CADD and other computer software systems
• Set up machines and equipment
• Estimate costs and materials
• Ensure health and safety regulations are followed
• Recommend personnel actions
• Read blueprints and drawings
• Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies
• Leading/instructing individuals

Supervision

• Supervise a team of 3-4 people

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 2 to less than 3 years
• Languages: English
