Position: Construction Manager

Location: Coquitlam, BC

Salary: $49.00 hourly (37 to 40 hours per week)

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Work Environment: Outdoors, Various Locations, Commercial and/or Industrial Construction

Responsibilities

• Prepare and submit construction project budget estimates
• Plan and prepare construction schedules and milestones, and monitor progress
• Establish and implement policies and procedures for quality control
• Plan and manage budgets
• Direct the purchase of building materials and land acquisitions
• Develop and implement quality control programs
• Develop risk management plans
• Oversee the analysis of data and information
• Prepare reports
• Plan, organize, direct, control and evaluate daily operations

Experience and Specialization

Education: Bachelor’s degree

Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years

Computer and Technology Knowledge: MS Access, MS Excel, MS Office, MS Project, Mac OS, SharePoint

Construction Specialization: Industrial, commercial, and institutional

Area of Specialization: Project management
