Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Construction Helper for permanent, full-time employment. Visa sponsorship is available for international applicants, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Calgary, AB
• Salary: $25.00 per hour for 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, full-time
• Work Location: On site
• Overtime: Required

Responsibilities

• Load, unload, and transport construction materials
• Erect and dismantle concrete forms, scaffolding, ramps, and barricades
• Mix, pour, and spread materials such as concrete and asphalt
• Perform routine maintenance work and clean up chemical spills
• Remove rubble and debris at construction sites
• Feed machines or equipment used in construction
• Direct traffic at or near construction sites

Work Environment

• Outdoors
• At heights and in confined spaces
• Fast-paced and physically demanding
• Requires manual dexterity and the ability to handle heavy loads (up to 23 kg / 50 lbs)

Qualifications

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required; training will be provided.
• Languages: English
• Personal Suitability: Flexibility, reliability, and a team player
