Our client is hiring a Concrete Mason. Immigration support may be available for qualified applicants, including candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: Georgetown, ON
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $41.00 hourly / 30 to 50 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Special Commitments: Morning, Day, Evening, Shift, On call

Responsibilities

• Direct placement of concrete into forms or onto surfaces according to grade.
• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement.
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete.
• Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification.
• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools.
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures.
• Apply hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
• Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces.
• Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.

Requirements

• Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
