Responsibilities

• Coordinate access and use of computer networks
• Install software
• Load printer with paper and forms
• Maintain, troubleshoot and administer local area networks (LANs), wide area networks (WANs), and mainframe networks
• Monitor performance of computer systems and networks
• Evaluate and install computer hardware and networking software
• Provide problem-solving services to network users
• Perform data backups and disaster recovery operations
• Set up local area networks and Internet connections
• Implement network traffic and security monitoring software

Experience and Qualifications

• Languages: English
• Education: College/CEGEP
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years

Skills Required

• Knowledge of networking software and hardware
• Understanding of networking security and internet protocols
• Proficiency in desktop applications and security software
• Familiarity with image editing software and MS Office
