Job Overview

Our client is seeking a dedicated Cleaner for permanent, full-time employment with potential immigration support for candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: Eastern Passage, NS
• Salary: $22.00 per hour, 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time
• Work Location: On site
• Flexibility: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend, Flexible hours
• Vacancies: 4

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, wash and polish floors
• Dust furniture
• Vacuum carpeting, area rugs, draperies and upholstered furniture
• Make beds and change sheets
• Distribute clean towels and toiletries
• Stock linen closet
• Clean, disinfect and polish kitchen and bathroom fixtures and appliances
• Disinfect operating rooms and other areas
• Handle and report lost and found items
• Attend to guests’ requests for extra supplies or other items
• Provide basic information on facilities
• Pick up debris and empty trash containers
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Wash windows, walls and ceilings
• Clean changing rooms and showers
• Address customers’ complaints or concerns

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Languages: English

Work Environment

• Non-smoking environment
• Work must be completed at the physical location; no remote work available

Transportation and Safety

• Own transportation and vehicle required
• Willing to travel regularly
• Public transportation is available
