Job Overview

Position: Child Care Provider – Private Home

Location: Toronto, ON

Salary: $20.00 per hour for 35 hours per week

Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time

Work Setting: Employer’s home, with optional accommodation available on a live-in basis

Relocation Costs: Covered by employer

Job Responsibilities

• Assume full responsibility for the household in the absence of parents
• Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties
• Travel with the family on trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties
• Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents
• Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home
• Prepare and serve nutritious meals
• Supervise and care for children
• Tend to the emotional well-being of children

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Languages: English

• Work must be completed at the physical location; no remote work options available
