Our client is currently seeking permanent quality-focused Chicken Catchers to join their team in Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island. This unique role is vital to ensuring adherence to the highest standards of animal welfare in the processing and marketing of chickens and turkeys.

Key Responsibilities

• Catching and loading live chickens and turkeys into crates.
• Following strict procedures related to animal welfare, operating standards, and safe work practices.

Requirements and Qualifications

• High School Diploma preferred.
• One year of experience is considered an asset, but not necessary.
• Capable of understanding English documents and safety manuals.
• Ability to work overnight shifts 5-6 nights per week.
• Physically capable of manual labor that includes lifting, bending, and reaching.
• Able to lift 50 lbs. on a regular basis.
• Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude.
