Our client is seeking a talented Cement Finisher to join their team. Visa sponsorship may be considered for overseas candidates.

Job Details

• Location: Grande Prairie, AB
• Salary: $31.70 hourly / 40 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
• Work Schedule: Day
• Vacancies: 4

Responsibilities

Key Tasks

• Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement
• Operate power vibrators to compact concrete
• Work at heights, on scaffolding or swing stages
• Impart desired finish to concrete surfaces using hand and power tools
• Instruct apprentices
• Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures

Qualifications

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience

Experience

• 2 years to less than 3 years in a relevant field

Skills and Certifications

• First Aid Certificate
• Ability to work outdoors in various conditions (dusty, hot, noisy)
• Excellent attention to detail and client focus

Additional Information

Work Environment

• Physically demanding with handling heavy loads
• Standing for extended periods

Transportation

• Own transportation is required
