Our client is seeking a dedicated Cashier to join their team in Tofield, AB. This is a permanent, full-time position with an emphasis on customer service and operational efficiency.

Job Details

• Location: Tofield, AB
• Salary: $15.00 per hour, 30 hours per week
• Workplace Information: On-site
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, full-time

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register and process various payment methods (money, cheques, credit/debit cards)
• Scan items and tabulate total payments for goods or services
• Receive payments and calculate daily/shift payments, reconciling with total sales
• Engage in suggestive selling and assist customers effectively
• Stock shelves and maintain a clean counter area
• Greet customers and assist with seat selection at theatres
• Attend to hotel safety-deposit boxes and assist customers with self-checkout
• Calculate foreign currency exchange and monitor entrances/exits
• Participate in promotional activities and verify customer age for restricted sales

Qualifications

• Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months in a similar role.
• Languages: English proficiency is required.
