Responsibilities

• Operate cash register
• Process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments
• Scan items and tabulate total payment for goods or services
• Receive payment for goods or services
• Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
• Suggestive selling and stock shelves
• Greet customers and provide customer service
• Calculate foreign currency exchange and verify customer age for restricted products

Experience and Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Languages: English

Skills and Qualifications

• Knowledge of electronic cash registers, Interac machines, and price scanners
• Ability to handle cash and maintain accurate records
• Strong attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
• Flexibility and reliability as a team player
