Our client is offering a cashier position. This role is open to Canadian citizens and permanent or temporary residents, as well as other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Immigration support may be provided for qualified applicants.

• Location: 2097 Old Okanagan Hwy, Westside, BC V4T 1T8
• Work location: On site
• Salary: $17.85 per hour, 30 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of employment: Seasonal, Full time
• Flexible hours: Early morning, day, evening, weekend, shift, on call, overtime available

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register
• Scan items
• Tabulate total payment for goods or services
• Receive payment for goods or services
• Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
• Engage in suggestive selling
• Stock shelves and clean counter area
• Greet customers
• Provide customer service
• Calculate foreign currency exchange
