Job Details

• Location: Kelowna, BC
• Workplace Setting: On-site
• Salary: $19.00 per hour for 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register
• Process money, cheques, and credit/debit card payments
• Tabulate total payment for goods or services required
• Receive payment for goods or services
• Calculate daily/shift payments received and reconcile with total sales
• Stock shelves and clean counter area
• Greet customers and provide customer service
• Monitor all entrances and exits, request proof of payment when necessary
• Verify the age of customers when selling lottery tickets, alcohol, or tobacco products

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: Experience an asset
• Languages: English
• Work Setting: Must be completed at the physical location. No option to work remotely.
• Personal Suitability: Flexibility and reliability
