Job Details

• Location: Sherwood Park, AB
• Work Setting: On site
• Salary: $37.00 hourly / 30 to 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, Full time

Responsibilities

• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel and other materials.
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring and erect walls and roof systems.
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware.
• Maintain, repair and renovate residences and wooden structures in mills, mines, hospitals, and industrial plants.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Languages: English
