We are seeking skilled carpenters to join our team. Our client offers visa sponsorship for candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit. This is an excellent opportunity for international applicants looking to work in Canada.

Job Details

• Location: Calgary, AB
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $28.85 to $35.40 hourly (To be negotiated)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Overtime: Required, includes early morning, day, evening, and weekend shifts
• Vacancies: 5

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures

Work Environment

• At heights
• Confined spaces
• Noisy and dusty atmosphere

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in a related field
• Languages: English
