Job Overview

Our client is seeking a skilled Carpenter for a full-time, permanent position in Calgary, AB. Immigration support may be provided, allowing both Canadian residents and other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit, to apply.

• Hours: 35 hours per week

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimates of labour and/or material costs.
• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements.
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools.
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials.
• Prepare tenders and quotations.
• Survey building locations and levels.
• Supervise other workers.
• Estimate costs and materials.
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
• Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year.
• Certificates: First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate.
