Our client is seeking a carpenter to join their team in Calgary, AB. This is a permanent full-time position, and immigration support is potentially available for qualified international candidates.

Job Details

• Location: Calgary, AB
• Salary: $36.00 per hour for 35 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent full-time
• Vacancies: 3

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, mouldings, and hardware
• Schedule and co-ordinate work on sites
• Supervise other workers

Requirements

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Languages: English
• Work must be completed at the physical location; there is no option to work remotely
