Our client is currently seeking a qualified Carpenter who is open to international applicants, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit. Visa sponsorship may be considered for suitable candidates.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, drawings, and sketches to determine work requirements
• Prepare layouts in conformance to building codes, using measuring tools
• Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials made of wood, wood substitutes, lightweight steel, and other materials
• Build foundations, install floor beams, lay subflooring, and erect walls and roof systems
• Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware
• Supervise other workers
• Estimate costs and materials
• Maintain, repair, and renovate residences and wooden structures in various establishments
• Build and repair wooden frames used to mold concrete products
