About the Role

As a Calibration Manager, you will be responsible for our Calibration Lab, leading the team that calibrates our instruments across critical parameters. Key responsibilities include:

  • Manage calibration staff: ensure high level of competence and provide feedback through periodic performance evaluations.
  • Coordinate calibration resources to meet production and/or product delivery schedules.
  • Lead improvement projects in the calibration lab to increase process efficiency and capacity while maintaining a high level of quality.
  • Ensure traceability of measurement systems and the integrity of measuring equipment.
  • Develop, implement, and maintain accurate calibration procedures.
  • Train calibration staff on procedures and metrology methods.
  • Prepare reports on calibration KPIs and project-related progress.
  • Participate in inter-laboratory comparison studies.
  • Interface with internal departments and external clients to provide technical support and resolve issues.

    • What You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in science or engineering.
  • Minimum of 8 years of related work experience, preferably in a high-tech manufacturing environment.
  • Strong understanding of metrology theory and traceable calibration (ISO/IEC 17025) and quality systems.
  • Experience creating & implementing lab procedures and documentation.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adjust to changing priorities.
  • Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills.
  • Experience with various measurement disciplines, primarily temperature, pressure, and conductivity.
  • Project management experience is a plus.

    • Nice to Haves

  • Experience with audits by accreditation bodies (e.g., A2LA, ANAB, NVLAP).
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other quality improvement methodologies.
  • Experience with Jira, Confluence, Arena, Salesforce, and Business Central.
  • Familiarity with Matlab and Grafana.
