Our client is seeking a dedicated Cake Mix Equipment Operator for their food and beverage processing facility. This role offers potential visa sponsorship for international applicants, including LMIA support.

Job Details

• Location: Acton Vale, QC
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $23.97 per hour / 32 to 37.5 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Shifts: Morning, Day, Evening
• Vacancies: 1

Responsibilities

• Operate machinery to process, bag, box, or package food products.
• Perform corrective machine adjustments.
• Record production information.
• Monitor gauges, computer printouts, and video monitors for processing conditions.
• Clean machines and immediate work areas.
• Notify the supervisor of mechanical malfunctions or product irregularities.
• Adjust process variables as needed.
• Maintain shift log of production and other data.
• Set up and adjust processing and packaging machines.
• Check products for defects to ensure conformity to standards.
• Operate machinery for blending, flavoring, and other processes.

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high school) graduation certificate.
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years.
• Languages: English or French.

Work Environment

• Work is physically demanding and may involve repetitive tasks.
• Must be able to handle heavy loads and maintain attention to detail.
• Work conditions can be noisy and odorous.
