Our client is currently seeking a Bookkeeper for a permanent, full-time position in Vancouver, BC. This role involves a variety of accounting and financial responsibilities. Immigration support may be offered to international candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Overview

• Location: Vancouver, BC
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $29.00 to $35.00 per hour (to be negotiated)
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Hours: 40 hours per week
• Shift: Morning, Day, 09:00 to 17:00

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years
• Languages: English
