Position: Bookkeeper

Workplace Information: On-site at head office

Location: 2369 E 41st Ave, Vancouver, BC, V5R 2W2

Salary: $37.00 per hour for 30 hours per week

Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation.
• Keep financial records and manage accounts using manual and computerized systems.
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
• Post journal entries.
• Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
• Prepare tax returns.
• Prepare trial balance of books.
• Reconcile accounts.

Experience and Skills

• Languages: English
• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 3 to less than 5 years
• Computer Knowledge: Database software, MS Excel, MS Outlook.
