Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper for a permanent, full-time position located in Surrey, BC. This role offers the opportunity for visa sponsorship for international applicants.

Salary

The hourly wage is $37.00, with an expected work schedule of 32 hours per week.

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll.
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain, and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems.
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements.
• Post journal entries.
• Prepare other statistical, financial, and accounting reports.
• Prepare tax returns.
• Prepare trial balance of books.
• Reconcile accounts.

Requirements

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience is required.

Languages

English proficiency is necessary.
