Job Overview

Our client is looking for a skilled Bookkeeper to join their team. This position offers immigration support for qualified candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 1400 Bayly Street, Pickering, ON, L1W 3R2
• Work Location: On site
• Salary: $27.00 per hour, 35 hours per week
• Employment Type: Permanent, Full time
• Vacancies: 4

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Maintain financial records and balance various accounts using manual and computerized systems
• Prepare general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries and prepare various financial reports
• Prepare tax returns and trial balances
• Reconcile accounts

Requirements

Qualifications

• Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
• Languages: English
