Job Description

Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper to join their team. This role offers visa sponsorship for qualified candidates, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: 3376 Parsons Road NW, Edmonton, AB, T6N 1B5
• Salary: $28.85 hourly / 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Environment: On-site, Fast-paced environment

Roles and Responsibilities

• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Maintain financial records and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Prepare general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries
• Prepare tax returns
• Prepare trial balance of books

Qualifications

Education

• Secondary (high) school graduation certificate

Experience

• 1 year to less than 2 years of experience

Computer and Technology Knowledge

• MS Excel
• MS Word
