Our client is seeking a bookkeeper for a permanent, full-time position. This role involves immigration support for overseas candidates, providing an opportunity for individuals with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Job Details

• Location: Bolton, ON
• Work Setting: On site
• Salary: $28.50 per hour for 37.5 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent employment, full time

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Maintain general ledgers and financial statements
• Post journal entries and prepare financial reports
• Prepare tax returns and trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts

Experience and Specialization

• Area of Specialization: Accounting
• Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years
