Job Overview

Our client is seeking a Bookkeeper. This position offers the opportunity for visa sponsorship for qualified international applicants, including those with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

• Location: Brampton, ON
• Salary: $36.20 hourly, for 35 to 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full Time
• Special Commitments: Early morning, Morning, Evening, Night, Shift, On call, Flexible hours

Responsibilities

• Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll
• Calculate fixed assets and depreciation
• Keep financial records and establish, maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
• Post journal entries
• Prepare statistical, financial, and accounting reports
• Prepare trial balance of books
• Reconcile accounts

Qualifications

• Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
• Experience: 1 to less than 7 months
• Language: English
