Job Overview

On behalf of our client, we are seeking passionate and dedicated Baristas. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and providing exceptional service. Your ability to connect with customers and deliver their favorite drinks will contribute significantly to our client’s café’s success.

Duties

• Provide friendly service and exceptional customer experience, answer questions and make suggestions.
• Operate cash register, following all cash handling policies and procedures.
• Prepare food and beverage items as per standard recipes, portions, and format.
• Deliver food and beverages to tables as needed.
• Assist in keeping the restaurant safe and clean by bussing, sanitizing tables, sweeping, mopping, and performing other assigned duties.

Skills

• Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and transaction processing.
• Experience with POS systems to manage sales transactions efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety practices within the food service industry.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customers.
• Previous experience in food service or the coffee industry is preferred but not mandatory.
• A friendly demeanor with a willingness to help create a positive experience for all guests.

Foreign Workers

The company will support the selected foreign applicant through the Francophone Mobility LMIA exemption. In order to qualify, you will need to:

• Have prior experience as a barista or in a similar position.
• Be able to prove your French language ability as per IRCC requirements.

Job Types

Pay

• From $15.00 per hour

• 30 – 40 per week
