Job Overview
Our client is seeking candidates for an exciting opportunity in a bake shop. We welcome applications from Canadian citizens, permanent residents, and other candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit.

Work Setting
Work must be completed at the physical location. There is no option to work remotely.
Responsibilities
Tasks
- Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Prepare pastry for special occasions, such as weddings and birthdays.
- Requisition or order materials, equipment and supplies.
- Bake mixed dough and batters.
- Train staff in preparation, cooking and handling of food.
- Supervise baking personnel and kitchen staff.
- Frost and decorate cakes and baked goods.
- Draw up production schedules.
- Train staff.
- Schedule staff.
- Inspect kitchen and food service areas.
- Operate machinery.
- Organize and maintain inventory.
