Job Opportunity: Brand Manager

Our client operates 23 travel centres along the busy highways in Ontario, providing a clean, safe, and friendly environment for over 40 million customers each year.

Role Overview

The Brand Manager will effectively manage day-to-day operations of the assigned brand(s), working closely with the plaza team to achieve financial goals and maintain brand standards. You will report to the General Manager or Associate General Manager and be responsible for overseeing the hourly team.

Core Responsibilities

Operations Management:

  • Oversee and schedule day-to-day operations to meet sales and budget targets.
  • Execute ordering and inventory processes.
  • Hire, train, coach, and develop team members, emphasizing Health & Safety.
  • Deliver brand, audit, and customer service standards.
  • Act as Manager-in-Charge in the absence of higher management.

    • Inventory and Ordering Accountability:

  • Manage inventory levels and deliver budgeted food cost targets.
  • Ensure timely ordering, receiving, storing, and reconciling of supplies.
  • Train and coach the team on food cost management and inventory accuracy.

    • Brand, Audit & Customer Service Accountability:

  • Ensure all team members meet or exceed brand and audit standards.
  • Complete self-audits and develop action plans for improvement.
  • Achieve high levels of customer service, providing coaching as necessary.

    • Team and Health & Safety Accountability:

  • Hire, train, and develop teams with clear performance expectations.
  • Schedule staffing to meet business needs and ensure customer service.
  • Ensure adherence to Health & Safety processes and procedures.

    • Manager-in-Charge Responsibilities:

  • When acting as Manager-in-Charge, prioritize the overall needs of the plaza.
  • Collaborate across brands to maintain high customer service levels.
  • Ensure compliance with all company and governmental standards.

    • Qualifications and Competencies

  • 3-5 years of experience as a Supervisor or Manager in high volume food and beverage operations.
  • Proficiency with POS Systems and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to lead by example and foster team development.
  • Demonstrated focus on customer experience.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaborative, and communication skills.
  • Sound operational knowledge within the fast-food/food service industry.
  • Reliable transportation to and from the plaza is required.
