Our client is seeking an experienced Automotive Service Technician for a permanent full-time position. This opportunity supports visa sponsorship for qualified international applicants.

• Location: Orillia, ON
• Salary: $36.50 per hour (35 hours per week)
• Work Environment: On site
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Available Positions: 2 vacancies

Overview

Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year

Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
• Confirm findings with supervisor to determine whether to repair or replace unit
• Discuss work with supervisor and review work orders
• Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications
• Estimate parts and labour cost to perform vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Perform scheduled maintenance service and advise customers on work performed
• Complete reports to document problems and work performed
• Provide excellent customer service
