• Salary: $36.00 per hour for 37.5 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Work Hours: Morning, Day, Evening, Weekend

Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems.
• Discuss work with supervisor.
• Inspect and test mechanical units to locate faults and malfunctions.
• Review work orders.
• Test automotive systems and components.
• Perform scheduled maintenance service.
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements.
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed.
• Coach and instruct apprentices.
• Provide customer service.

Qualifications

Education

• Other trades certificate or diploma

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years of relevant experience.

Work Environment

• Dusty, outdoors, dirty, hot, and noisy.
• Willing to relocate.

Skills and Certifications

• Automotive Service Technician (Fuel and Electrical Systems) Trade Certification.
• Specialization in Engine repair, Electrical and electronic systems, Diagnostics, and HVAC systems.

Additional Information

• Fast-paced environment requiring attention to detail.

• Own tools/equipment: Steel-toed safety boots.
