Job Overview

Our client is seeking an Automotive Mechanic to join their team. They are open to applications from candidates, with or without a valid Canadian work permit, and may provide immigration support for qualified applicants. This is a full-time, permanent position located in Summerside, PE.

Job Details

• Location: Summerside, PE
• Work Setting: On-site; relocation costs covered by the employer
• Salary: $34.07 per hour (40 hours per week)
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full-time
• Work Conditions: Morning and Day shifts; noisy work environment

Key Responsibilities

• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of commercial transport truck systems
• Inspect and test mechanical units to identify faults and malfunctions
• Road test motor vehicles and test automotive systems and components
• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed

Qualifications

• Education: Other trades certificate or diploma or equivalent experience
• Experience: 5 years or more in the field
• Certificates: Motor Vehicle Inspector Certificate, Automotive Service Technician Red Seal Certificate
