Job Details

• Location: 799 Confederation Street, Sarnia, ON N7T 2E4
• Salary: $28.00 to $36.00 per hour (negotiable), based on 40 hours per week
• Terms of Employment: Permanent, Full time
• Work Schedule: Morning, Day, Weekend
• Vacancies: 2

Responsibilities

• Advise customers on work performed and future repair requirements
• Adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems
• Perform scheduled maintenance service
• Complete reports to record problems and work performed
• Test and adjust repaired systems to manufacturer’s specifications
• Estimate parts and labor cost for vehicle maintenance and repairs
• Repair or replace mechanical units or components
• Test automotive systems and components
• Road test motor vehicles
• Review work orders
• Inspect motor in operation

Qualifications

• Education: Registered Apprenticeship certificate or equivalent experience
• Experience: 3 to 5 years in automotive repair
• Certificates: Automotive Service Technician Trade Certification
